WELCOME TO OUR WEB SITE!

In Devon and Cornwall there are only two riding schools which are approved by the British Horse Society as Training Centres (although there are many BHS approved riding establishments). Approved training centres are regularly inspected by a Fellow of the BHS who observes riding lessons, jumping lessons, listens to lectures on horse care and stable management and generally inspects the facilities including the horses/ponies and their tack (equipment).

After a recent inspection, Mrs. Jane Goldsmith FBHS wrote in her report "this is a caring school where the pupils are well taught and looked after".

Our senior instructor Claire Graves came to us as a girl and trained with us to become a BHS registered instructor. She now competes in dressage at National level on one of our horses Sunrising Apollo which she has, for the most part, brought on and trained herself with help and advice from Mrs. Pammy Hutton FBHS.

We have set out an index so that you may click on the aspects of our Centre which are of specific interest to you. Should you require further clarification of any particular service, please do not hesitate to e-mail us, or telephone Captain Ted Moore on (01579) 362895.
